At Electric Scooters London, your safety and peace of mind come first. That's why every new electric bike or electric scooter purchased from us comes with a Free Six Months Service—an in-depth health check to keep your ride running smoothly and safely.

What's Included in Your Free Six Months Service?

The service is designed as a complete safety and performance check after your first few months of riding. It typically includes:

Full safety inspection – frame, stem, handlebars, folding mechanisms and fixings checked and tightened where required.
Brake system check – brake pads inspected and adjusted, callipers aligned, cables or hoses checked for wear and tension.
Brake pads replacement (if required) – basic pads replaced where worn beyond safe limits^*.
Wheels & tyres – tyres inspected for damage or excessive wear, pressures checked and set to the correct level.
Drivetrain check (e-bikes) – chain, cassette and derailleur inspected, lubricated and adjusted for smooth shifting.
Suspension check – front/rear suspension (where fitted) checked for correct function and unusual play or noise.
Electrical system check – lights, display, throttle/pedal assist, cables and connectors visually checked.
Firmware updates – where available, we update the controller/display to the latest recommended firmware.
General roadworthiness check – a test ride to ensure the bike or scooter is performing as it should.

Who Is Eligible?

Any new electric bike or electric scooter purchased from Electric Scooters London.
The free service must be taken approximately six months from the original purchase date (we normally allow a small grace period).
The bike or scooter must be in generally good condition and used in line with the manufacturer's guidelines.

What's Not Included?

The Free Six Months Service is a maintenance and safety check – it is not a repair warranty. The following are not included:

Accident damage, misuse or water ingress.
Major repairs to motors, controllers, batteries or displays.
Cosmetic parts (bodywork, plastics, stickers, etc.).
Upgrades or installation of non-standard accessories.
Replacement of heavily worn or damaged parts beyond normal wear and tear (chains, tyres, rims, etc.) – these can be replaced at an additional cost if required.

How to Book Your Free Six Months Service

Find your purchase date – on your invoice or order confirmation email.

Bring your bike or scooter – along with your proof of purchase. We'll confirm the booking date and approximate turnaround time.

Most Free Six Months Services are completed on the same day, but this can vary depending on the workshop's workload and any additional paid work you authorise.
