About Electric Scooters London
Welcome to Electric Scooters London — a UK retailer and repair workshop specialising in electric bikes, private-land e-scooters, parts, accessories, diagnostics, repairs and servicing.
Based in Twickenham, West London, we help customers choose, maintain, and repair electric mobility products with honest advice, practical support, and clear information on UK use, safety, and maintenance.
Our aim is simple: to make electric mobility easier to understand, easier to maintain and safer to own.
What We Do
We supply a carefully selected range of electric bikes, private-land e-scooters, spare parts and accessories from established brands. We also provide workshop support for diagnostics, servicing, repairs, tyre changes, battery checks, brake adjustments, electrical faults and warranty-related issues.
We are not just an online seller. Our London workshop gives customers access to real after-sales support, product advice and repair help when they need it.
Electric Bikes
Electric bikes can be a practical choice for commuting, leisure riding, local journeys and everyday transport. A suitable e-bike can help reduce short car journeys, lower running costs and make cycling more accessible for a wider range of riders.
In the UK, an electric bike must comply with the Electrically Assisted Pedal Cycle (EAPC) rules to be treated as a normal bicycle for road use. This generally means the bike must have pedals, motor assistance must cut off at 15.5 mph / 25 km/h, and the motor must not exceed 250W continuous rated power.
Some high-powered, off-road, throttle-controlled, modified, or unlocked electric bikes may not be road-legal in the UK unless they meet the required legal conditions. Customers should always check whether a product is suitable and legal for their intended use before riding.
Private-Land E-Scooters
We also sell electric scooters for private-land use. Privately owned e-scooters are currently not permitted for use on UK public roads, pavements, cycle lanes, parks or other public places.
Unless UK law changes, privately owned e-scooters may only be used on private land with the landowner's permission.
Electric Scooters London does not encourage or promote the unlawful use of privately owned e-scooters in public places. Customers are responsible for checking and following current UK law before using any e-scooter.

Repairs, Servicing and Long-Term Support
Electric bikes and electric scooters require regular inspection, servicing and maintenance, like any other vehicle. Brakes, tyres, bolts, folding mechanisms, lights, cables, batteries, chargers and electrical components should be checked regularly to keep the product safer and more reliable.
Our workshop provides diagnostics, maintenance, tyre changes, brake work, battery and charger checks, controller/display troubleshooting, electrical fault assessment and general repair support.
Even after the warranty period, we aim to help customers keep their e-bike or private-land e-scooter running for as long as possible.

Warranty and Customer Support
We support customers with warranty-related issues, diagnostics and manufacturer claim processes where applicable. Depending on the product and fault, this may include troubleshooting, replacement parts, workshop repair, manufacturer assessment or other suitable remedies.
Warranty coverage can vary depending on the brand, model, component and manufacturer terms. For full details, please read our Warranty Policy.
Our Approach to Sustainability
We believe sustainability is not only about buying electrical products. It is also about choosing the right product, using it responsibly, maintaining it properly and repairing it where practical.
Our repair-first approach helps reduce unnecessary waste and delivers better long-term value to customers from their electric bike or private-land e-scooter.
