Frequently Asked Questions
What is the maximum speed?
The unrestricted specification is up to 60km/h / 37mph. Speed varies with load, terrain, battery state, temperature and whether single- or dual-motor mode is selected.
How far can the ES1 travel on a charge?
The 50–60km figure comes from a flat-road test with an 80kg rider. Real-world range is affected by load, terrain, temperature, tyre pressure, riding style and battery condition.
Can I use one motor instead of both?
Yes. The ES1 allows the rider to select single- or dual-motor drive, helping balance power delivery and energy use for the conditions.
Can I ride a privately owned ES1 on UK roads?
No. Privately owned e-scooters cannot legally be used on UK public roads, pavements, cycle lanes or parks. Use is limited to genuinely private land with the landowner’s permission.
