The ENGWE O20 Boost Folding Electric Bike combines a compact step-through folding frame with a 250W rear hub motor, 75 Nm Boost torque, a responsive torque sensor, and a high-capacity 48V 15Ah LG-cell battery. With assistance up to 15.5 mph / 25 km/h, it is designed for everyday journeys, leisure rides and convenient storage.
Built around a 6061 aluminium folding frame, the O20 Boost features 20 x 2.125-inch anti-puncture tyres, a hydraulic suspension fork, Shimano Altus 8-speed gearing, dual-piston hydraulic disc brakes, integrated lighting, Bluetooth app connectivity and an included rear rack.
The 48V 250W rear hub motor delivers smooth pedal assistance, while Boost mode provides up to 75Nm of torque for additional support on hills and during acceleration. A torque sensor measures rider input to provide a more natural and proportional response than a basic cadence-sensor system.
Five pedal-assist levels allow the level of motor support to be adjusted. At the same time, the Shimano Altus 8-speed drivetrain provides a useful range of mechanical gears for changing gradients and riding conditions. Motor assistance is limited to 15.5 mph / 25 km/h.
The O20 Boost uses a 48V 15Ah battery with a total capacity of 720Wh. It is built with 21700 LG cells and an integrated battery management system for monitored charging and power delivery.
The estimated range is up to 141 km in PAS 1, 108 km in PAS 3 or 80 km in PAS 5 under suitable riding conditions.
The 20 x 2.125-inch anti-puncture urban hybrid tyres are designed to balance rolling efficiency, stability and everyday comfort. Double-wall aluminium rims with 36-hole, 12-gauge spokes provide a durable wheel setup.
A hydraulic front suspension fork with adjustable lockout and 50mm of travel helps absorb bumps and uneven surfaces. The ENGWE comfort saddle, adjustable seat post and step-through frame support an accessible and comfortable riding position.
The centrally mounted 3.5-inch colour LCD provides clear access to riding information and assistance settings. Bluetooth connectivity enables compatible functions through the ENGWE app.
Integrated lighting includes a 40-lux K-mark-certified front light and a K-mark-certified rear light, helping improve visibility in lower-light conditions.
The O20 Boost is equipped with dual-piston hydraulic disc brakes and 160mm front and rear rotors for controlled braking performance. Its compact folding frame is manufactured from 6061 aluminium alloy and incorporates the battery within the frame.
The bike is certified to CE EN 15194 by TÜV. Component-specific water-resistance ratings include IPX7 wiring, an IPX6 display and lighting system, an IPX5 motor and controller, and an IPX4 battery enclosure.
The O20 Boost includes a Find My-compatible tracking accessory for use with compatible iOS and Android devices. Bluetooth connectivity also supports compatible controls and information through the ENGWE app.
A quick-release seat clamp, folding stem and compact frame make the bike easier to adjust, fold and store. The included centre-mounted kickstand provides stable support when parked.
The supplied 54.6V 4A charger charges the 720Wh battery in approximately 3.5 hours. A UK power cable is included.
