Pure Advance Electric Scooter – A forward-facing ride, a slimmer fold
The Pure Advance gives each foot its own platform, so you stand facing forwards with your feet side by side. Folding handlebars, stem and footpads make it easier to store along a wall or in a narrow space.
A 500 W nominal rear motor delivers up to 924 W maximum input power. The current maximum tested range is 35.7 miles (57.5 km), with a top speed of 15.5 mph (25 km/h).
Privately owned e-scooters cannot currently be used on UK public roads, pavements, cycle lanes, cycle tracks or other public places. Use only on private land not open to the public, with the landowner’s permission. Read our UK e-scooter law guide.
A natural stance with steering support
The separate footpads distribute your weight across the scooter. Pure Control steering stabilisation gently returns the steering towards the centre while allowing you to turn normally.
Slimline storage
Fold the handlebars and footpads in, then lower the stem. The Advance becomes a narrow 104 × 15 × 54 cm package, weighing 16.2 kg.
Braking, tyres and visibility
A front drum brake works with rear regenerative braking. The 10-inch tubeless tyres provide cushioning, while front and rear lights and handlebar and footpad indicators help make your position and intentions visible.
Connected controls
Check speed, mode and battery level on the display. Bluetooth connects to the Pure app for ride information and digital PIN locking.
Quoted ranges are maximum test figures, not guaranteed distances. Pure’s current figure uses controlled testing at 15 km/h. Actual range varies with rider weight, speed, hills, surface, temperature, wind, tyre pressure and battery condition.

Frequently asked questions
How does the Advance differ from the Flex?
The Advance folds into a long, narrow package with folding handlebars, stem and footpads. The Flex adds a folding chassis to shorten the package further. This listing is for the standard Advance.
Why do some boxes show a 40 km range?
Pure updated its test method; the scooter itself has not changed. The current maximum tested range is 57.5 km, replacing the earlier 40 km figure. Actual distance depends on riding conditions.
Does the Pure Advance have suspension?
No. It has a rigid frame and fork, with air-filled tyres providing cushioning. Check tyre pressure regularly and follow the supplied manual.
What should I check before the first ride?
Fully charge the battery, check tyre pressure and make sure the stem latch, handlebars and footpads are securely locked. Follow the supplied instructions and Pure’s latest setup guidance.
Care and water resistance: IP65 helps protect against dust and rain. Avoid heavy rain, deep water, submersion and pressure washing. Dry the scooter and charging port before charging.
