Pure Escape Pro Electric Scooter – Robust build, forward-facing control
The Pure Escape Pro pairs a steel frame with wide, perforated footpads and swept handlebars. Its forward-facing riding position gives both feet their own space, with Pure Control steering stabilisation helping the steering return towards the centre.
A 500 W nominal rear motor provides up to 924 W maximum input power. The 36 V 10 Ah battery supports a maximum tested range of 38.6 miles (62.1 km), with three modes to adjust the scooter's speed setting.
Privately owned e-scooters cannot currently be used on UK public roads, pavements, cycle lanes, cycle tracks or other public places. Use only on private land not open to the public, with the landowner’s permission. Read our UK e-scooter law guide.
A frame built around a planted stance
The steel frame and textured, perforated footpads give the Escape Pro a sturdy feel underfoot. Its swept handlebars offer a wide hand position, complementing the side-by-side stance for measured, predictable control.
Responsive rear-wheel power
The motor drives the rear wheel, controlled by a thumb accelerator. Three speed settings let you choose the response that suits your ride, while the display keeps speed and remaining battery charge in view.
Straightforward tyres and braking
The 10-inch tubeless tyres combine air cushioning with an enhanced tread pattern. Pulling the brake lever activates the front drum brake and rear regenerative brake, bringing both braking systems into use together.
Practical equipment for each ride
A front light, rear running and brake light, reflectors and bell are built in. The steering column folds for storage, and the Pure app adds ride information and a digital PIN lock through Bluetooth.
Quoted ranges are maximum test figures, not guaranteed distances. Pure’s range figure for this model was measured at a steady 15 km/h under controlled conditions. Actual range varies with rider weight, speed, hills, surface, temperature, wind, tyre pressure and battery condition.

Frequently asked questions
How does the Escape Pro compare with the Pro+?
Both use a 500 W nominal motor with up to 924 W maximum input power. The Pro has a 10 Ah battery; the Pro+ increases capacity to 12 Ah for a longer maximum tested range.
Does this Escape Pro have suspension?
No. This model has a rigid frame and fork, with air-filled tubeless tyres providing cushioning. It is separate from Pure's Suspension range.
What folds for storage?
The steering column folds down over the scooter. The swept handlebars remain full-width, so it needs more storage width than the folding-handlebar Flex and McLaren models.
What does steering stabilisation do?
Pure Control applies a gentle centring force to the steering. It helps reduce unwanted side-to-side movement without replacing the rider's steering input.
Care and water resistance: IP65 helps protect against dust and rain. Avoid heavy rain, deep water, submersion and pressure washing. Dry the scooter and charging port before charging.
