ADO Air 20 Ultra 2026 Folding Electric Bike
The ADO Air 20 Ultra 2026 combines a folding unibody aluminium frame with a 250W BAFANG H730 rear-hub motor and an integrated automatic three-speed gearbox. A dual-sided torque sensor adjusts assistance to match pedalling effort, while the carbon belt keeps power delivery quiet and clean.
A removable 370Wh seatpost battery, aluminium lockout suspension fork, TEKTRO hydraulic disc brakes and 20-inch reflective tyres give the Air 20 Ultra a refined specification for everyday assisted cycling. The UK configuration assists up to 15.5mph (25km/h) and has no throttle.
BAFANG automatic three-speed drive
The H730 motor integrates three automatic ratios into the rear hub and delivers up to 50Nm of torque. Together with the dual-sided torque sensor and assistance levels 0–3, it adapts support smoothly without a manual gear lever.
370Wh removable battery
The 37V 10Ah seatpost battery provides 370Wh of capacity and can be removed for charging. The maximum quoted assisted range is up to 62 miles (100km), with an approximate 4–6-hour recharge using the supplied 42V 3A charger.
Premium folding equipment
The integrated aluminium frame is paired with an aluminium lockout suspension fork, 20 × 2.0-inch reflective tyres and TEKTRO hydraulic disc brakes. NFC activation, an IPS colour display, AQS 2.0 and a MIK-compatible rear rack add day-to-day convenience.

I have been riding the bike for about a week now, about 60miles on the clock riding it to and from work, and it has been a joy to ride, comfortable and responsive.
The bike is very weighty and robust (feels heavier than the advertised 20kg), but with the motor running you do not really feel the extra weight. The automatic gears are so smooth, you barely notice them changing. Hill climbing has been a breeze (I am up in the Pennines, so I am thankful for this), and the assistance makes accelerating from a dead stop almost instant (perfect at traffic lights in busy traffic).
It folds away quick and easily, making it convenient to store at work and at home. If I had one small gripe, it is that in my testing the range of the battery is no where near the advertised 100km. I went from 100% to almost empty after my first 22miles (approx 35km). I appreciate that 100km applies to ideal riding conditions; light rider, flat roads, low assist etc (I am close to the weight limit at 110kg, riding hilly terrain but using predominantly eco mode level 1 - 3), still I did not expect the range to fall short by that much. However as it only works out at about 11p to charge on our tariff (way cheaper than my typical commute), this is not a big issue for me, and 20+ miles is more than enough for my needs between charges.
Finally I want to thank 'Electric Scooters London'. There were some delays receiving the bike due to a delayed restock shipment. The company however handled this with absolute top class customer service, by both keeping me updated and offering me a free upgrade to the newer model for the inconvenience. It was worth the wait!
