ADO Air 28 Pro & Ultra Step-Through Electric Bikes
The ADO Air 28 Pro and Air 28 Ultra pair an easy-access Dutch-style step-through frame with BAFANG automatic hub gearing. Both use a 250W rear-hub motor, 40Nm of bike-system torque and a dual-sided torque sensor for smooth support that responds to pedalling effort.
Choose the Air 28 Pro for the BAFANG H700 automatic two-speed hub or the Air 28 Ultra for the H730 automatic three-speed hub. A removable 370Wh battery, carbon belt, hydraulic disc brakes and 700 × 45C tyres complete a quiet, practical specification for everyday assisted cycling.
Choose two-speed Pro or three-speed Ultra
The Pro's H700 hub changes between two internal ratios automatically. The Ultra's H730 adds a third ratio and stronger support in its low-speed gear. Both versions retain the same 250W rating and 40Nm complete-bike torque figure, with Eco and Sport profiles and assistance levels 0–3.
Removable 370Wh battery and carbon belt
The 37V 10Ah DMEGC battery removes for charging and provides approximately 370Wh of capacity. The maximum quoted range is up to 62 miles (100km), with a typical recharge taking approximately 4–6 hours using the supplied 42V 2A charger. The carbon belt is clean, quiet and low-maintenance.
Step-through comfort and connected features
Puncture-resistant 700 × 45C tyres, an adjustable lockout suspension fork and hydraulic disc brakes support stable handling. A 3.5-inch IPS colour display works with the ADO Smart App, while the frame supports discreet AirTag or SmartTag placement; the tracking tag is not included.

What is the difference between the Air 28 Pro and Ultra?
The Pro uses a BAFANG H700 automatic two-speed hub. The Ultra uses a BAFANG H730 automatic three-speed hub with a lower climbing ratio.
Does either version need a conventional gear shifter?
No. The internal hub ratios change automatically, and the carbon belt replaces a conventional chain.
Can the battery be removed?
Yes. The 37V 10Ah battery can be removed for charging or secure storage.
Is a tracking tag included?
No. The frame supports AirTag or SmartTag placement, but the tag is purchased separately.
Is this the UK EAPC configuration?
Yes. It is supplied with usable pedals, a 250W motor, no throttle and assistance limited to 15.5mph (25km/h). Keep the electrical system unmodified for EAPC use.
