Compact folding for everyday journeys
The ENGWE Zip brings torque-sensing assistance to a compact steel bike with a three-part folding design. Its 250W rear hub motor delivers up to 40 Nm, while 16-inch wheels and quick-release pedals help reduce the space needed when storing the bike.
A removable 360Wh LG-cell battery can be charged away from the bike and supports USB-C power delivery for compatible devices. Shimano seven-speed gearing, hydraulic disc brakes and a suspension seatpost add useful everyday features, with a stated weight of 19.4 kg including the battery.
Key features
- Compact storage: The frame, stem and single-sided front fork form a triple-folding design, with quick-release pedals to reduce the folded footprint.
- Responsive pedal support: A torque sensor adjusts assistance to your pedalling effort, with three assistance levels and seven mechanical gears.
- Removable USB-C battery: The 36V 10Ah battery supports PD 3.0 charging and power output, so compatible devices can use it as a power source.
- Everyday ride equipment: Hydraulic disc brakes use 160mm rotors front and rear. A suspension seatpost adds cushioning without a suspension fork.

Can the battery charge other devices?
Yes. It supports PD 3.0 USB-C power output for compatible devices. Device compatibility and the cable used determine the charging performance.
Does it have gears and suspension?
It has Shimano Tourney seven-speed gearing and a suspension seatpost. The single-sided front fork is rigid.
Is a rear rack included?
The rear rack is an optional accessory sold separately. ENGWE lists a 15 kg rack limit; luggage also counts towards the bike's overall permitted load.
