The Pure x McLaren Flex Electric Scooter combines McLaren-inspired styling with Pure Electric's ultra-compact Flex platform. Featuring a 500W nominal rear-wheel motor with up to 924W maximum input power, an estimated range of up to 52 km (32.3 miles) and a lightweight aluminium alloy frame, it delivers responsive performance in a highly compact format.
Finished in McLaren's historic papaya colourway, the Flex uses Pure's distinctive forward-facing riding position, folding footpads and foldable handlebars to create a balanced stance while reducing its folded size for convenient storage.
The rear-wheel-drive motor delivers a 500W nominal output with up to 924W maximum input power. Three riding modes provide adjustable power delivery, while the motor is designed to handle gradients of up to 19%.
A 36V 9.5Ah lithium-ion battery provides an estimated range of up to 52 km (32.3 miles) under optimal test conditions.
The 10-inch tubeless tyres provide grip and durability without the need for conventional inner tubes. The recommended tyre pressure is 36 psi. The scooter does not use suspension, instead relying on its tyre design, aluminium frame and forward-facing riding position for stable handling.
The scooter uses a thumb-press accelerator and an integrated display that shows speed, riding mode, battery level, Bluetooth status, and maintenance information.
Lighting includes a 150-lumen front light, a rear brake light and an always-on rear running light. Visibility is supported by 180-degree handlebar indicators, rear-facing footpad indicators and front and rear reflectors.
A dual braking system combines a front drum brake with a rear KERS regenerative electric brake for controlled stopping. Pure Control™ steering stabilisation helps reduce steering wobble and improve directional control.
The aluminium alloy frame carries an IP65 water-resistance rating and supports a maximum rider load of 120 kg.
Bluetooth connectivity allows the scooter to connect to the Pure app. The scooter can be digitally locked with a PIN code via the app and includes cruise control and an integrated bell.
