How do I choose the correct replacement charger?

Check your exact bike or scooter model and the specifications on the original charger and battery. The replacement must have the correct output voltage, an approved charging current, and the correct connector and polarity for that battery. A battery's nominal voltage can differ from the charger's output voltage, so do not choose by the battery voltage alone.

Will a charger work if the plug fits?

A matching plug does not confirm compatibility. Chargers with similar connectors can have different output voltages, current ratings or pin arrangements. Only use a charger confirmed as compatible with your battery and model.

Can I use a higher-current charger to charge faster?

Only if that charger is specifically approved for your battery and bike or scooter. A higher current is not a suitable upgrade by default. Check compatibility with us before changing the charging specification.

What information should I send for a compatibility check?

Send your make, exact model and model year if known, plus clear photos of the original charger's label, its connector, the battery label and the charging port. If the original charger is missing, tell us so we can check the remaining details.
