Full suspension with responsive pedal assistance

The ENGWE Engine Pro 2.0 pairs a torque sensor with a 75 Nm hub motor, so assistance responds to the effort you put into the pedals. Its front fork and rear shock help manage uneven surfaces, supported by broad 20-inch fat tyres.

An eight-speed Shimano drivetrain gives you more choice of cadence, while hydraulic disc brakes and a colour display keep the main controls close at hand. The folding frame reduces storage size, although this remains a substantial bike that needs careful handling when lifted.

Real-world range ENGWE quotes up to 68 miles (110 km) in PAS 1, tested with a full charge, a 75 kg load and flat ground at 25°C. Higher assistance, hills, load and cold weather reduce real-world range.

Key features

  • Assistance matched to pedalling: The torque sensor varies motor support with your pedal pressure, while Shimano Altus eight-speed gearing helps you settle into a comfortable rhythm.
  • Suspension at both ends: A suspension fork and rear frame shock work with 20 × 4.0-inch tyres to soften bumps and vibrations on mixed surfaces.
  • Hydraulic braking and clear information: Front and rear 160 mm hydraulic disc brakes offer controlled braking. The colour LCD displays speed, battery status and riding information.
  • A smaller storage footprint: The aluminium frame folds to approximately 104 × 55 × 84 cm. Check the available space and lifting access before planning transport.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does it have a torque sensor?

Yes. The sensor responds to pedal pressure, adjusting assistance as your effort changes. The bike also has an eight-speed Shimano Altus drivetrain.

What does full suspension mean on this model?

It has a suspension fork at the front and a separate shock acting on the rear frame. Both work with the wide tyres to cushion uneven surfaces.

Will it fit in my storage space?

The published folded size is approximately 104 × 55 × 84 cm. Measure access as well as the final space, and allow for a bike weighing around 31.6 kg before accessories.

Can I charge the battery away from the bike?

Yes. The battery can be removed from the frame and charged separately. Use the compatible supplied charger and follow the battery removal instructions in the manual.

Can I put luggage on the rear rack?

The published rear-rack limit is 25 kg. The rider, luggage and other carried items must also remain within the bike's 150 kg total payload limit.
