Pure Flex Electric Scooter – Compact folding, natural control
The Pure Flex makes a full-size scooter easier to store. Its folding chassis, handlebars and footpads pack down to just 62 × 30 × 57 cm, while the aluminium-alloy construction keeps its weight to 16.2 kg.
Separate footpads let you ride with your feet side by side, facing forwards. A 500 W nominal rear motor supports up to 924 W maximum input power, with a maximum tested range of 32.3 miles (52 km).
Privately owned e-scooters cannot currently be used on UK public roads, pavements, cycle lanes, cycle tracks or other public places. Use only on private land not open to the public, with the landowner’s permission. Read our UK e-scooter law guide.
A compact fold for smaller spaces
The Flex folds through the chassis as well as the steering column, bringing the wheels closer together. That shorter package is useful for a car boot or storage cupboard, while folding handlebars and footpads reduce its width.
A balanced stance and calmer steering
The forward-facing footpads give each foot its own space. Pure Control steering stabilisation gently guides the steering towards the centre, helping reduce unwanted side-to-side movement while leaving you in control of the turn.
Air-filled tyres and coordinated braking
The 10-inch tubeless tyres provide cushioning without inner tubes. A single brake lever operates the front drum brake and rear regenerative brake together, combining mechanical braking with electrical braking at the rear wheel.
Clear information and built-in signalling
Check speed, riding mode and battery level on the display. Front and rear lights work alongside handlebar and footpad indicators, while Bluetooth connects the scooter to the Pure app for ride information and digital PIN locking.
Quoted ranges are maximum test figures, not guaranteed distances. Pure’s range figure for this model was measured at a steady 15 km/h under controlled conditions. Actual range varies with rider weight, speed, hills, surface, temperature, wind, tyre pressure and battery condition.

Frequently asked questions
What makes the Flex different from a normal folding scooter?
The chassis folds as well as the steering column, handlebars and footpads. This reduces the folded length to 62 cm, making it easier to fit into smaller storage spaces.
How do you stand on the Pure Flex?
Place one foot on each side footpad. Both feet face forwards, giving you a side-by-side stance rather than placing one foot behind the other on a single deck.
Does the Pure Flex have suspension?
No. It uses air-filled tubeless tyres for cushioning, with a rigid frame and fork. The tyres need regular pressure checks to maintain ride quality.
Can I connect it to my phone?
Yes. Bluetooth links it to the Pure app, where you can view ride information and use the digital PIN lock.
Care and water resistance: IP65 helps protect against dust and rain. Avoid heavy rain, deep water, submersion and pressure washing. Dry the scooter and charging port before charging.
