Wow! What a bike. I’d only ever had a shot of an electric bike once before on holiday. I couldn’t find any specs on the bike I’d used so after reading reviews decided to go with the Eleglide TANKROLL. I’m glad I did.
The bike arrived earlier than I had initially anticipated which was great. The company kept in touch and responded quickly to messages. The box was huge and heavy so was a bit of a wrestle getting it upstairs.
The bike is perfectly packaged inside ready for you to assembly. All of the tools you need come included. Instructions aren’t particularly clear but it’s quite straight forward you don’t really need them. The large battery comes mostly charged too.
I had a slight issue (if you could call it that) with the front tyre. The tyre had popped out from the bed of the wheel. Again, a quick reply from ElectricScooterLondon, I had the tyre deflated, popped back in and ready to go in no time.
The battery was quickly charged to full and off I went. This bike has some serious pull. As soon as you start peddling the assist kicks in and makes cycling effortless. It glides smoothly along roads and cycling across grass is effortless too. Next was a hill climb. This bike performs. It pulls you up the hill. Yes, you need to pedal but it really is effortless. The motor does the work for you.
I’d read a few reviews online and watched some YouTube videos to get an idea before purchasing. The saddle was mentioned regularly for being uncomfortable. I can’t honestly say it’s that bad at all. I was out for hours and hours yesterday and felt it a comfortable ride. I’d also read here and there that the bike is a ‘bit small’ for taller folks and the seat and the handle needs to be brought to max. height making the frame look smaller. I don’t see this at all. The bike is a beast as described. I’m 6ft and the handle bars are in the default. It’s a big bike!
Coming in at £899 with the current promotion, this was still a lot of money for me. But I’m glad I decided to purchase the Eleglide Tankroll. It’s provided me with exactly what I was hoping for in an electric bike. This will allow me to cycle to work instead of walking/taxi. So the bike will effectively pay for itself in a matter of months. What’s more is I can also use this bike with ease on my usual off road persuits.
I was out in the bike all day from it was built and ready to go. My bum’s a bit sore but that’s always the case having not been in a bike in a while.
I’m incredibly pleased and would definitely recommend the Eleglide Tankroll and Electric Scooters London. Particularly for their efficiency in dispatching your order and how quick and supportive they are replying to any queries you have.
Thanks very much again. I’m very pleased!
It is an amazing bike a beast very pleased with it the brakes on it ant to good and when i was putting it together the left pedal was not screwing in probably so had to take it to the bike shop to salt it out.apart from that I love it fantastic 😊 bike it's my first electric bike thanks 👍
