This 2026 version is designed for riders who want a low-maintenance electric bike with advanced assistance, quiet operation and premium everyday usability.
Compared with the previous Air 20 Ultra, the 2026 model introduces a BAFANG H730 2nd Gen auto-shifting rear hub motor, dual-sided torque sensing, an upgraded 2.4-inch IPS smart display with NFC, AQS 2.0 and an MIK-compatible aluminium rear rack.
The 250W BAFANG H730 2nd Generation rear hub motor uses automatic internal gear shifting for smoother power delivery, easier climbing and more efficient pedalling. With up to 50 Nm of torque and a dual-sided torque sensor, assistance feels natural, responsive, and precise up to 25 km/h (15.5 mph).
The 37V 10Ah removable seatpost battery keeps the frame clean and minimal while allowing convenient charging away from the bike. Under ideal conditions, the system delivers an assisted range of up to 100 km.
The 20 x 2.0-inch CST C-1959 tyres provide stable handling and efficient rolling. An aluminium lockout suspension fork helps absorb surface vibration while allowing a firmer setup when preferred.
The upgraded 2.4-inch IPS smart display provides clear ride data and supports NFC power on/off for fast, secure access. Fully integrated front and rear lights improve visibility while maintaining the bike's clean design.
TEKTRO hydraulic disc brakes provide strong, consistent braking performance. The unibody aluminium folding frame improves structural rigidity while keeping the bike practical for storage and transport.
The Air 20 Ultra 2026 includes AQS 2.0, NFC access and a smart display for improved convenience and system interaction. The aluminium alloy rear rack with MIK support allows quick-fit compatible accessories to be added when required.
The included 42V 2A charger supports standard UK mains input and charges the battery in approximately 4–6 hours.

Electric Scooters London is a UK specialist retailer offering expert advice, UK-based support and dependable after-sales service. We provide carefully selected e-mobility products designed for reliability, performance and long-term ownership.

I have been riding the bike for about a week now, about 60miles on the clock riding it to and from work, and it has been a joy to ride, comfortable and responsive.
The bike is very weighty and robust (feels heavier than the advertised 20kg), but with the motor running you do not really feel the extra weight. The automatic gears are so smooth, you barely notice them changing. Hill climbing has been a breeze (I am up in the Pennines, so I am thankful for this), and the assistance makes accelerating from a dead stop almost instant (perfect at traffic lights in busy traffic).
It folds away quick and easily, making it convenient to store at work and at home. If I had one small gripe, it is that in my testing the range of the battery is no where near the advertised 100km. I went from 100% to almost empty after my first 22miles (approx 35km). I appreciate that 100km applies to ideal riding conditions; light rider, flat roads, low assist etc (I am close to the weight limit at 110kg, riding hilly terrain but using predominantly eco mode level 1 - 3), still I did not expect the range to fall short by that much. However as it only works out at about 11p to charge on our tariff (way cheaper than my typical commute), this is not a big issue for me, and 20+ miles is more than enough for my needs between charges.
Finally I want to thank 'Electric Scooters London'. There were some delays receiving the bike due to a delayed restock shipment. The company however handled this with absolute top class customer service, by both keeping me updated and offering me a free upgrade to the newer model for the inconvenience. It was worth the wait!
